This is an ink resist picture. I sketched out the basic design and used a light table to copy the design over to a thicker piece of paper. I used oil pastels for the brown, red, and yellows. I tried shading in the red darker to give it a sense of shadow by using green, but when I inked it came out wrong... oh well. I then used black ink and coated the paper. Used a paper towel to remove the excess ink that wasn’t absorbed by the paper, let dry for a few days before scanning. Will put up original sketch and my early 'test' ink resist later in sketches.

Since the scanner doesnt like to scan it to where you can see it all in one scan, I ahd to scan it in two different types so you could see it all, view both versions of the sketch here and here
